Charlotte Tilbury Color Chameleon Color Morphing Eyeshadow Pencil in “Black Diamonds”

As promised, more Charlotte Tilbury reviews are here! In today’s post, the Charlotte Tilbury Color Chameleon Color Morphing Eyeshadow Pencil in “Black Diamonds” will be the star of the show and it’s truly a product that has impressed me. While the reviews I’ve read about this is about average, I find that it’s a really easy product to use — so, for me, it’s great for travel or when I’m in a hurry.

Charlotte Tilbury Color Chameleon Color Morphing Eyeshadow Pencil is a product that is designed to “bring out the natural sparkle of your eyes.” The pencil is not self-sharpening, so you’ll have to have a separate sharpener on-hand for this product. However, the formula is superb so it’s something I can personally overlook. This eyeshadow pencil “is infused with synthetic sapphire, a mineral gemstone with natural soft-focus powers for a smooth, perfect finish.” It’s packed with tons of glitter, so if that’s not your kinda thing then this won’t be a product that you’ll like. “Black Diamonds” in particular is highly-pigmented and has chunky, noticeable glitter.

Also, “combined with lighting tricks learned by Charlotte Tilbury’s experience in the makeup industry, the pencil will transform and enhance your natural eye color. The long-lasting, easy-glide formula smoothes on and stays on for up to 10 hours.” Now, while I’m a sucker for gimmicky product, I can’t say that my naturally dark brown eyes “change” because of this eyeshadow pencil, LOL.

The pigmentation is controllable — meaning, you can make it as light as you want and as dark as you want. Before blending, it’s really easy to pack on the color too. After swiping it directly onto my eyelids, I use my finger or a blending brush to blend out the color. For me, using my finger has been more useful. Another way to use this product is to sweep is onto your eyelid by using a pencil brush or flat eyeshadow brush. Just wipe the product onto the brush, and use the brush to apply the color. With the particular shade, blending or smudging with my finger has given me a grungy but neat look, which I’ve really been liking.

Work quickly, as the formula sets after 30 seconds. So, it’s better to do one eye before moving onto the other. This product is great for glamorous nights out, parties, and special occasions. While the smokey eye isn’t for everyone, I think this is great for anytime that you need a little oomph for you eye makeup look. I recommend “Black Diamonds” and I think it’s a great shade to have on-hand.

Retails for $26.00 USD.

It’s so hard to find things on beauty blogs that work for everybody, regardless of race, but eyeliner in black is pretty much one of the few things that is across the board. This seems like a pretty cool one to add a little razzle dazzle to your day!
