Too Faced Love Flush Long-Lasting 16-Hour Blush in “Baby Love”

I’ve been hearing a lot about the new Too Faced Love Flush Long-Lasting 16-Hour Blushes, so naturally I was immediately out looking for them. Long-wear blushes are necessary for summer; but realistically, I think no blush can really stay on your skin for 16 hours! I found that the Too Faced Love Flush Blushes were truly long-lasting, which was a pleasant surprise for me. After reading about the shade “Baby Love” on a variety of beauty blogs, I chose this one as my first blush and will definitely be returning for different colors.

“Baby Love” is a “soft dusty nude with fine gold sparkle.” I thought at first that it may be too dark for my fair skin, but it turned out to be a nice natural flush color. I like that it isn’t too rosey or bronzey, and it looks very natural on the skin without looking muddy. As for the formula, it’s quite soft but not powdery. I like that so I know that the product is going from the pan to the brush to my skin. The Too Faced Love Flush Long-Lasting 16-Hour Blushes contain “six pigment-rich, high-impact shades deliver a pretty, pop of color to any skintone with bold color payoff. The long-wear formula is enriched with buttery soft pigments that bond with skin and take on a weightless, suspended look that lasts for up to 16 hours—so you don’t have to worry about reapplication throughout the day. From a soft dusty nude hue with fine gold sparkle to a watermelon pink, you can create an array of looks for daytime and nighttime wear.”

The shades available are not that wide ranged; however, it does cover all the basis such as having pinks, peaches, corals, and rose tones available. I think later on I’ll purchase one of the pinkier shades.

I felt that the product was truly long-wearing. Even in the Texas heat, the color stayed on despite humidity and sweat. It blends nicely and is pigmented enough to show some real color. It’s buildable, which I’m more comfortable with since I tend to wear my blushes on the subtle side. I think the packaging is pretty and the quality of the product is nice too. I like that the compact is heart-shaped, but I also like that it’s flat too.

Retails for $26.00 USD.

  1. Hmm nice!! But at $26 😊it is quite expensive! I own the balm Instain blushes but they last well for about 4 hours! And not sweat proof!
I m seriously planning to buy a natural Hued matte pink blush that is water , sweat And humidity resistant! Any suggestions ?
I was expecting may be too faced has taken the plunge to make a water proof blush as at $26 price tag we can expect it and from a brand like too faced!

    • I think Too Faced is a good place to start. $26 is pricey, but since a little goes a long ways with the blush, I think it may be worth checking out. Another great brand for long-wearing blushes is NARS!
